10:15 — arrived on scene. smell is present. metallic. like blood but wrong somehow.
10:22 — checked vent filters. clean. no blockage.
10:35 — checked main circulation hub. airflow normal. no contamination detected by sensors.
10:47 — smell getting stronger. doesnt make sense. sensors say air is clean.
11:04 — traced smell to vent shaft above isolation ward 7. this is where they're keeping cr-201.
11:18 — opened vent access panel. inside is wet.
11:19 — vents shouldnt be wet. we're in space. where is the moisture coming from.
11:23 — the wetness is red.
11:25 — calling supervisor.
11:31 — supervisor says dont touch it. says seal the vent. says call hazmat.
11:40 — hazmat wont come. they say containment protocol. they say dont touch anything that came from isolation ward 7.
11:52 — the moisture is moving. its spreading along the inside of the vent. its moving against airflow.
12:07 — sealing vent access. welding it shut.
12:15 — i can hear something in there. sounds like breathing. slow. wet.
12:23 — weld complete. vent sealed.
12:30 — smell is gone.
12:44 — smell is back. stronger.
12:51 — its coming from a different vent now.
ADDENDUM (092/032 EIC): Maintenance Tech ████████ did not report for shift. Found in quarters unresponsive. Eyes open. Staring at ceiling vent. Vent cover was removed from inside. Vent interior is wet.
